Welcome to Venatio Creo!
Venatio Creo is a portable intuitive platform designed to allow non-programmers to create interactive computer games. It utilizes a WYSIWYG interface that lets the user see the effects of their actions immediately. After the game is created, the user may redistribute the application as a stand-alone professional quality program. (PC version required for redistribution)

The Venatio Creo platform has had two major additions very recently. Firstly, version 1.1 of Venatio Creo for the Xbox 360 has gone live, so the next time you run it on your Xbox you will be prompted to download the new update. Secondly, We have added a new application to the webpage called Venatio Creo Lite. Venatio Creo Lite is a port of the soon to be released V 1.2 of the Xbox version to the Windows platform. This offers a much simpler development environment on the PC and is a great way to ease into using the main Venatio Creo development application. There are some major points though that you need to know before using it, so please check out the About page and the Downloads page for more information. The features in Venatio Creo Lite will appear in the next patch for Venatio Creo for the Xbox 360.

This is our first release of the actual application after over a year of program development and three years of research. We hope that you will try out the application and provide us with any feedback you may have. Please be sure to visit our community forums to share your games and suggestions for improvement! In addition, the team name for our core development team has been changed to Angry Tofu, including a new start up screen before the Venatio Creo logo. We hope you will be as amused as we are.February 2nd, 2009
The release candidate for Version 1.0 of Venatio Creo is now available in the downloads section! This version represents the licensing model that we have prepared for the project. From this point forward a "Free" version of Venatio Creo will be available on the website that will be feature complete, except for the ability to create standalone projects and a banner that will appear during game play. We will be releasing a purchasable Venatio Creo Pro licensing package that will allow you to create a standalone game to be produced, and it will not have the banner at the bottom of the screen. This package will be competitively priced and will be available on a single license per game project model (with unlimited redistribution).
We have also added many more game projects that display the different types of genres and games Venatio Creo can make. As always, we are still looking for feedback so we encourage all users to register on our forums and post their feedback suggestions and creative game projects. Thanks for your continued support!

Please download it and offer any feedback you would like in the forums. Also speaking of the forums, we recently were hit with spam, so now when you wish to register, it must be approved by an administrator.
